Scott Lobdell (born 1963) is an American comic book writer. He is the writer of The Hardy Boys Graphic Novel series. Outside of Hardy fandom, he is best known for his work with Marvel Comics' X-Men, and a spin-off he co-created, Generation X.
His work has won him a good deal of recognition in the comic books industry, including a nomination for the Comics Buyer's Guide Award for Favorite Writer in 1997.[1]
Hardy Boys work[]
Lobdell started his work for Papercutz, on The Hardy Boys in 2005, with The Hardy Boys: The Ocean of Osyria series. Since then he has written every title in The Hardy Boys Graphic Novel series.
With the publication of Graphic Novel #18 D.A.N.G.E.R Spells the Hangman, Lobdell passed Leslie McFarlane - the first ever Hardy writer - for most consecutive Hardy Boys books written.
