Scott Lobdell (born 1963) is an American comic book writer. He is the writer of The Hardy Boys Graphic Novel series, out side of Hardy fandom, he is best known for is work with Marvel Comics' X-Men, and a spin-off he co-created, Generation X.

His work has won him a good deal of recognition in the comic books industry, including a nomination for the Comics Buyer's Guide Award for Favorite Writer in 1997.[1]

In 2005, Lodell started his work at Papercutz on The Hardy Boys, with the three part mini-series of The Ocean of Osyria, since then he has written every title in The Hardy Boys Graphic Novel series.

With the publication of Graphic Novel #17 Word Up!, Lobdell will pass Leslie McFarlane - the first ever Hardy writer - for most consecutive Hardy Boys books written.
