• April - The Hardy Boys are: The Clues Brothers series is discontinued, after #17 The Bike Race Ruckus.

2001Edit

• April - An eBook version of Past and Present Danger is released. This is the first ever Hardy Boys eBook.

2002Edit

• May 28 - The audio cassette version of The Tower Treasure, read by Bill Irwin, is published by Imagination Studio.
• October - The Hardy Boys Collector's Edition is published to celebrate The Hardy Boys' 75th Anniversary.
• October - The Hardy Boys' Guide to Life is released.

2004Edit

• November - First part in The Hardy Boys: The Ocean of Osyria comic book mini series is published by Papercutz.

2005Edit

• January - After the publication of the third part in Papercutz's The Hardy Boys: The Ocean of Osyria comic book mini-series, the comic book series is discontinued.
• April 5 - The longest running series in Hardy history, The Hardy Boys, was discontinued after 78 years and #190 volumes, with the publication of #190 Motorcross Madness
• April 21 - Grosset & Dunlap republished volumes 59 to 66 of The Hardy Boys series, in hardcover format.
• April - A new Hardy Boys series was launched with the publication of The Hardy Boys Undercover Brothers #1 Extreme Danger, #2 Running on Fumes, #3 Boardwalk Bust, and #4 Thrill Ride. The first four books hit bookstore shelves in Canada and the United States in mid-April even though the publication dates on the copyright pages of the books list a June 2005 publication date.
• May - Collected edition of The Ocean of Osyria is released in trade paperback and hardcover format. This is the first title in The Hardy Boys Graphic Novel series.

2007Edit

June 5 - The first book in the new Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys Super Mystery series, Terror on Tour, is published.

2008Edit

• May - Deprivation House, book one in the Murder House Trilogy, and 22 in the The Hardy Boys Undercover Brothers is published. With this book the format of the Undercover Brothers series is changed from stand alone stories, to three part story arcs.
• September 22 - The Hardy Boys: The Hidden Theft, the first title in the video game series by DreamCatcher is released.
